All employees must sign an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the State of California and the United States, must be of good moral character, must obtain evidence of a negative Tuberculosis test (valid within last four years), and provide evidence of citizenship or appropriate immigration status. California law requires public education employees to be fingerprinted for the purpose of a confidential background investigation at the time of employment, whether or not the employee has previously been fingerprinted.
