The Department of  Educational  Services oversees many essential aspects of the TK-12 Instructional Program. 

The department's responsibilities include:

  • Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP)
  • Textbooks & Instructional Materials, including adoptions and Curriculum Advisory Council (CAC) for TK-12
  • State and District Assessments
  • College and Career Readiness
  • Professional Development and Administrator Support
  • Technology Integration, including Mobile 1:1 Implementation

  • Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

Board of Education Meeting on Monday, September 13, 2021

6:30 p.m.

Members of the public may attend the board meeting in person to make a public comment.

The purpose of this public hearing is to adopt a resolution stating whether each pupil in the Martinez Unified School District has sufficient textbooks and instructional materials in specified subjects that are aligned to academic content standards and consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum frameworks adopted by the state board.
