Guided Reading Levels A-Z are used at the elementary level to inform teachers, students, and parents about reading progress.

HOW HAS TEACHING AND LEARNING CHANGED?

BEFORE NOW

Students work mostly independently.

Students work independently, in small groups, in partners, and with people across the globe.

Students demonstrate their learning through multiple choice assessments.

Students demonstrate their learning through multiple choice assessments and performance-based, real world tasks.

  • Rockin’ the Standards: A veteran elementary school teacher and his rock band have taken lyrics from common tunes and changed them to help kids remember the mathematics they’ve been taught in school.
