CURRICULUM ADVISORY COUNCIL (CAC)

This committee facilitates the articulation and coordination of the TK-12 curriculum. The committee provides a vehicle for defining and discussing curricular concerns related to the district program. The council advises the superintendent and the school board in making curriculum-related decisions. All instructional materials purchased with textbooks and/or lottery funds are processed through this committee.

CAC meets quarterly and makes curricular recommendations to the superintendent and school board.

Forms must be received by Amy Espinoza two weeks before the scheduled CAC meeting to be considered. Teachers must be prepared to provide a brief presentation of the materials under consideration to the CAC.
