As we approach the close of the first semester, student engagement is shining across our schools. From intervention tools at Las Juntas to algebra problem-solving at the high school, students were focused and prepared diligently for this week’s final exams through note taking, games, and review sessions.

Our student Arts programs continue to amaze whether it’s the Pop’s concert, the Jr. High music concert, or the High School Musical Band performances, students are showcasing well-rounded and balanced educational experiences. Don’t miss the creativity of our youngest learners: check out our website for features on our Elementary students’ art.

Community generosity is also on full display. The Rotary wish list has been finalized, with a $10,000 donation anticipated, and MEF grant donations will be finalized soon. We are also sending special thanks to Passion of The Streets Inc. for their generous donation of gift cards for our students.

The district will be closed for the break from December 24th through December 26th, and again from December 31st through January 2nd. For all other days of operation, the district will be open during regular office hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
