As we prepare for Spring Break, I’d like to highlight a few important celebrations and recognitions within our district.

Please join me in honoring our incredible para‑professionals. Their dedication, compassion, and daily support make a profound difference in the lives of our students.
Spotlight on MJHS Music Teacher Sammie Flanzbaum
A special shout‑out to Sammie Flanzbaum for being recognized by the Martinez community during Women’s History Month. Her contributions, leadership, and commitment to our students and to the arts enrich our entire district.
Districtwide Open Houses Showcase Student Excellence
Our Open Houses across the District were outstanding, with student work on full display, showcasing the commitment of both staff and students to meaningful learning.
As we head into the break, I encourage everyone students, staff, and families to take time to rest, reconnect, and reflect on the many accomplishments we’ve achieved together so far this year.
When we return, the pace will pick up quickly. CAASPP assessments, Drama and Band performances, Earth Day activities, and many other events will continue to support the growth and development of our students.
In sum, I wish everyone a wonderful and restorative Spring Break.
